Know Before You Go
Welcome to Safety Harbor Resort & Spa — a historic, Old-World retreat on Tampa Bay. Whether you're unwinding at our world-class spa or soaking in one of our natural mineral spring-fed pools, we want your stay to be effortless from the moment you arrive. Here's everything you need to know before you get here.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in starts at 4 p.m. If your room's ready earlier, we'll get you in right away — otherwise, our bell staff will happily hold your luggage so you can start enjoying the resort and spa immediately. Guests must be 18+ with valid ID to check in.
Check-out is 11 a.m. Running late? Ask the Front Desk the morning of departure about a late check-out — availability depends on the next day's occupancy, so we can't confirm in advance.
Late check-out fees (when available):

After 3 p.m. — full night's room rate + tax
Smoking Policy
All guestrooms are non-smoking. Please step onto the balcony (with the door closed) or use a designated outdoor smoking area, and be mindful of neighboring balconies. A $250 cleaning fee applies if smoke is detected in your room.
Pets
Pets aren't permitted in guestrooms. A $250 cleaning fee applies if evidence of a pet is found.
